A FEW NOTES TO HELP YOU PREP FOR YOUR NEWBORN SESSION!

-Newborn Sessions are done ideally within the first two weeks of baby being born. There is around a two week turn around time for getting your images back. I always try my best to edit out all dry skin and blemishes on baby.

-The full balance of the Newborn Package is due the day of your session ($295). I can accept Venmo, PayPal, Checks, Cash or Credit Cards (clients are responsible for the 2.9% credit card processing fee). *Zelle is temporarily unavailable*

-Sessions last typically 1-2 hours. We are welcome to take breaks for diaper changes or feedings if need be.

-Keep in mind this is a “lifestyle” style newborn session versus “studio” style. Here is a link to my portfolio if you want to see what to expect for poses: Newborn Portfolio

-You are welcome to do as many outfit changes as you would like for baby (most people do 1-4). I will bring a couple of neutral swaddles, soft neutral blankets, and a basket and crate we can prop baby up in to provide a few additional options.

-Any props you want to incorporate are welcome but not required. For example homemade blankets, nursery decor, personalized items like blankets or signs with baby’s name on it, books, stuffed animals, etc…

-Most of the photos are taken in the nursery. Other options are the couch, master bedroom, up against a blank wall, or outside in the yard (weather permitting obviously). I will bring a flash that mounts to my camera to bounce off of the ceiling in case we need extra lighting in badly lit rooms or on gloomy days.

-The variety of photos will include: mom with baby, dad with baby, mom and dad with baby, solo shots of just baby (usually in the crib or on the bed or in a basket). Siblings and pets are always welcome to be in photos. Some people don’t want to be in photos so solo shots of just baby are ok too if that’s what you prefer!
